Position Overview
The Sales Agent - Commission Export is a critical role for someone who can identify the right buyers, negotiate deals, and move agricultural produce fast. You’ll connect farmers to international markets, ensuring their hard work translates into fair compensation. Your success will be measured by your ability to build and close a strong deal pipeline and secure successful transactions.
What You’ll Do
Gain Regional Insights:
- Leverage strong knowledge of Zambia and Zimbabwe’s agricultural markets to align deals with local needs and opportunities.
- Stay updated on market trends and buyer demands in these regions.
Build and Manage a Deal Pipeline:
- Identify and nurture relationships with international buyers for our agricultural products.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of active and potential deals to ensure consistent sales, leveraging a system that tracks opportunities across Zambia and Zimbabwe. This system should account for regional buyer preferences, deal stages, and ensure alignment with market demands in both locations.
Close the Deal:
- Negotiate fair prices and terms that ensure swift transactions and repeat business.
- Agreements must include confirmed costs, delivery arrangements, and secured payment.
Build Trust:
- Cultivate relationships with buyers for long-term partnerships.
- Ensure transparency and reliability in all transactions.
What You Need to Succeed

Experience:

- Familiarity with international trade and market dynamics in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

- Resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities to address real-time challenges.
Qualifications:
- While not mandatory, a background in business, marketing, or trade can be advantageous.
- Any certifications in export management or agricultural trade are a plus.
